1. Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment for eyelash extensions, eyelash lift, eyelash tinting, eyelash extension removal or eyelash wash services, you (the "Client") agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.

2. Risk Acknowledgment

You acknowledge and understand that the services provided involve working close to the eye area, which may pose certain risks, including but not limited to irritation, allergic reactions, or injury. While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction, you accept that such risks exist. By proceeding with the service, you agree that PURELASH STUDIOS INC. will not be held liable for any adverse outcomes related to these risks.

3. Health and Safety

To ensure your safety and the best results, please inform us of any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions related to the eye area prior to your appointment. You agree that it is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information regarding your health status.

4. Liability Waiver

By proceeding with your booking, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless PURELASH STUDIOS INC., its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to the services provided, including any adverse reactions or injuries.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a forfeited deposit. If you cancel your appointment at any time, the deposit will be forfeited. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to the refusal of future services.

6. Refund Policy

All services are non-refundable once provided. If you are dissatisfied with the results, please contact us within 48 hours to discuss any issues or concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to address any issues but do not guarantee a refund.

7. Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare is crucial for achieving optimal results. You will be provided with aftercare instructions, and it is your responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure the longevity and safety of the treatment.

Lash extension aftercare is essential to ensure the longevity of your extensions and the health of your eyes. It is the client's responsibility to follow the recommended aftercare instructions provided by PURELASH STUDIOS INC. Failure to properly care for your lashes can lead to various issues, including infections, lash loss, or irritation.

PURELASH STUDIOS INC. is not liable for any adverse effects or infections that may arise from inadequate aftercare. By receiving lash services, you acknowledge that PURELASH STUDIOS INC. cannot be held responsible for any outcomes resulting from improper aftercare.

Lash extensions must be cleaned regularly using a gentle, lash-safe cleanser to prevent the buildup of oils, dirt, and bacteria. Inadequate cleaning or neglecting lash hygiene can lead to eye infections or irritations, for which PURELASH STUDIOS INC. is not responsible.

By receiving lash services, you agree to adhere to the aftercare guidelines provided and understand the risks associated with improper lash care. PURELASH STUDIOS INC. reserves the right to refuse service to clients who repeatedly disregard these guidelines, as it may compromise their eye health and the integrity of our services.

8. Snacks and Refreshments Disclaimer

At PURELASH STUDIOS INC., we offer complimentary refreshments for your comfort, including but not limited to water, pop, coffee, and snacks. Please be advised of the following:

Consumption Responsibility:
By accepting any refreshments or snacks provided by PURELASH STUDIOS INC., you acknowledge that you are consuming them at your own risk. We encourage clients with allergies or dietary restrictions to exercise caution.

PURELASH STUDIOS INC. Liability:
PURELASH STUDIOS INC. is not liable for any adverse effects, allergic reactions, or other health issues that may result from consuming provided food or beverages. Clients assume full responsibility for their own choices regarding consumption.

9. Eyelash Fill Policy

For fill appointments at PURELASH STUDIOS INC., clients must have at least 40% of their lash extensions remaining, as determined by me at the start of the appointment. If less than 40% remains, the service will be charged as a full set. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated to maintain the quality and appearance of your lashes.

10. Photography and Consent

By booking an appointment at PURELASH STUDIOS INC., you consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during your appointment for promotional or educational purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, the use of your images in newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, websites, social media platforms, and educational materials. Your consent helps us showcase our work and educate others about our services. Thank you for your understanding!

11. Eyelash Variation and Acknowledgement

At PURELASH STUDIOS INC., we understand that everyone’s eyelashes are unique, and as such, the exact look achieved may vary from person to person. While we strive to create the desired effect based on your preferences and the natural characteristics of your lashes, please acknowledge that results may differ due to factors such as lash length, thickness, curl, and individual eye shape. By proceeding with your appointment, you accept that while we will do our best to meet your expectations, we cannot guarantee an identical replication of any specific look.

12. Curly Eyelashes

Clients with naturally curly lashes may require a lash lift solution to straighten their natural lashes before the extension application, as very curled lashes can make it challenging to apply extensions properly and may affect the quality and durability of the results. This may add additional time to your appointment. Please notify us of any potential allergies prior.

13. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used only for the purpose of providing and managing the services. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

14. Contact Consent

By booking an appointment, you consent to be contacted by PURELASH STUDIOS INC. prior to or following your appointment for any reason related to the service, including but not limited to discussing your style preferences, addressing questions, or confirming any relevant information regarding allergies or sensitivities.

15. Payment Terms and Client Liability

By booking an appointment at PURELASH STUDIOS INC., the client agrees to pay the agreed-upon service price. Clients are responsible for ensuring payment is made in full at the time of service. Failure to pay the agreed price may result in additional charges or legal action to recover the owed amount. By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge and accept these payment terms and agree to be held liable for the full service price. Appointments are not secured until they are booked through our website and a deposit is received. This deposit ensures your spot and allows us to prepare for your appointment.

16. Pregnant Clients

At PureLash Studios Inc., we prioritize the safety and comfort of all clients, including those who are pregnant. While lash extensions are generally safe, hormonal changes may increase sensitivity, so we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before your appointment. Pregnant women should also avoid harsh chemicals, which are commonly found in adhesives used in the lash industry. Research on the effects of lash glue during pregnancy is still limited. Additionally, lying flat on your back for extended periods can reduce blood flow to the baby, especially for clients in the 12-20 week mark. We can accommodate by allowing clients to lie on their side during the service. By proceeding with lash services while pregnant, you acknowledge these potential risks and agree that PureLash Studios Inc. is not liable for any reactions or complications. We also encourage pregnant clients to request a patch test 24-48 hours before their appointment to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

17. Foreign Fills

Pre-Appointment:

Clients with lash extensions from another artist must send clear photos and videos of their lashes at least 48 hours before their appointment.

In-Person Assessment:

If photos/videos are not provided, or if the lashes are deemed unsuitable for a fill during the appointment, the service may be denied.

Unsuitable for Fill:

Lashes may be deemed unsuitable for a fill if:

- The previous work is poorly applied.

- The extensions are causing damage to the natural lashes.

- The lash health is compromised, or the existing extensions do not meet our standards.

Removal & Full Set:

If necessary, a lash removal and new full set will be required, and both services will be charged.

Lash Health:

We prioritize the health and safety of your natural lashes. If previous extensions could compromise their condition, we may recommend a different approach for the health and safety of your lashes.

18. Appointment Timing Disclaimer

The duration of each lash service varies depending on the number of natural lashes the client has. Clients with more natural lashes may require longer appointment times, while those with fewer natural lashes may finish sooner.

Please keep this in mind when scheduling your appointment, as the timing provided is an estimate and may be adjusted based on your individual needs. If you have any concerns about appointment duration, feel free to discuss them with us in advance.

19. Promotional Offers

Promotional offers, discounts, or special deals announced by PURELASH STUDIOS INC. are only valid for purchases made within the specified promotional period. Any orders or appointments placed before the announcement of a promotion are not eligible for retroactive discounts, refunds, or adjustments. Promotions cannot be combined with previous purchases or applied to existing bookings. We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice.

20. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

21. Ongoing Agreement to Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of PURELASH STUDIOS INC., you acknowledge that this agreement applies to all current and future bookings, including those created on your behalf by PURELASH STUDIOS INC. This is a one-time agreement, and re-acceptance is not required for each appointment.

It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions before every booking, as they may be updated from time to time. PURELASH STUDIOS INC. will not notify clients individually of changes. By continuing to book appointments—or by having appointments booked on your behalf—you agree to the most current version of the terms and conditions.

22. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

LATE POLICY

At PureLash Studios Inc., we strive to provide the best possible service to all our clients. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for everyone, please review our late policy:

1. Arriving Late: If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, please be aware that your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid inconveniencing the next client. You will still be responsible for the full cost of the service.

2. 15 Minutes Late: If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. This will be considered a late cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Emergencies and Special Circumstances:

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise. If you have a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you without penalty.
